Never in my life would i thought i would witness what a coronation of a king was like hundreds of years ago.

The brits really know how to preserve their traditions. I was in London a day after the coronation.

You know, George IV was a disaster as king, but so many of the things he created ended up being maintained. The robes, the diamond tiara, the sword, etc. etc. etc. Even the music. He was a cr*p monarch, but the man had an eye for bling.

King Charles knows he's not a God. He is to serve God. That's why Jesus and serving Him is brought up so much in the ceremonies.

I'm American but I feel the Royal Family does much good. I think Queen Elizabeth the 2nd was a wonderful monarch and so dedicated. Their life is one of duty and sacrifice which in all honesty.. Makes them unusual human beings. No human is perfect.. Not one, except Jesus, but among humans, they are exceptional.
