Absolutely right Mike I have found that the right hand palm is pointed to the hole is the big key as the baseball bats right hand when standing straight up is pointed to the pitcher .

I learned to play golf right handed but I have always batted left handed

Theres definitely more than 1 difference. The 10 finger baseball grip doesn’t allow your hands to work together and is one of the most common rookie mistakes i see in golf. Any beginners out there, choose an interlocking or an overlapping grip asap. The longer you wait, the harder it’s going to be to change your grip and your never going to play to your full potential gripping the golf club like a baseball bat. There’s only been a small handful of successful golfers who have a 10 finger grip. Scott Piercy and Jonathan Vagas are the only 2 modern players I can think of.

Most baseball swings don't happen in the middle of the zone. Practice hitting golf balls off a low baseball tee using this drill.

Be careful what you teach, baseball is in motion, actually continue motion, golf is stable, baseball is thrown from a higher place than where you hit it from, means that there is an angle right there
