Man I am just getting hip to Jill Stein and I consider myself to be well-read, analytical, educated and an independent thinker. Sadly though, the mainstream media doesn't cover Presidential candidates like this much. According to Jill Stein, Trump got $2billion in free media advertising and Hillary about $1 Billion in the 2016 Presidential election cycle.. The Green Party candidates get none. Many Americans don't know they exist. The more I hear from Jill the more I really dig her. If independents ban together we can destroy this 2 party system!!!

Yes, but it is only a drop in the bucket compared to the political stagnation. If we improved our political system, our tax system would become more civilized. However, the tax system will not change the country alone, as it is merely a part of the whole picture that is government.

Jill is not a fool: she is completely aware of how corrupt the system is. But she also knows that the first steps to changing it are: a) to convince people just how awful the current reality is and b) to demonstrate to them that there are viable alternatives to the current system and that they can and must fight for them. Her candidacy is a very effective way to accomplish those two steps.
