"I bought the original table in an antiques shop and I feel sure it is an old piece of John Fowler furniture. The original is painted in a drab green/grey with a cobalt line. It is very delicate and has terrific charm. I have found it a little tall and small to use and so decided to layer it for this collection. I am really looking forward to using this in all sorts of places. A bedside in a small bedroom, bathrooms, beside a chair in a sitting room. These sorts of tables are just very useful in houses and tend, over time, to move about offering multiple uses." (Rita Konig)
