Honestly girls, if teachers do this dumb stuff, just get up and go to the bathroom. Teachers shouldn't have a say of when you can or cant control your bladder and especially not your period. Plus, im sure nobody is just comfortable with saying to their teacher that their on their period. If you get in trouble for a natural reaction in your body, dont feel bad because its really not your fault.

When I was in middle school (8th grade year) my 7th period History teacher Mr. Robert was mad at me for showing up 1-2 minutes late to his class. He then wanted me to explain to him and the whole class on why I was late. So I just said "Sorry sir but I'm on my period right now." Mr.R then said "Ew that's disgusting, you should've kept that to yourself." 4 of my female classmates looked at him and 2 of them said "It's not disgusting, it's natural. I honestly feel bad for your wife and daughter for having to deal with a pathetic man like you." A few boys even nodded in agreement with the girls. Teacher never said anything like that to me again.

Another story: I was on my period, so I went over and quietly asked my male math teacher Mr.L (in the same middle school) if I could go to the bathroom and he said "You don't even need to ask, but I appreciate you still asking me anyway, but honestly go right on ahead if it's for that reason." I honestly miss that teacher to this day, he was probably one of the nicest teachers I've ever had.

In 6th grade, there was this one new teacher at my school that just hated me for no reason at all, and would just scream at me even though I did nothing wrong and just wouldn't let me be. So one day, I just got really bad cramps and my partner said that I should take a pad from her and use the washroom, so I borrowed a pad and went to the teacher and asked her if I could go. She said "No" really loudly which kinda made me flinch. I asked her again 5 mins later and she screamed at me so angrily and asked me why I needed to go so bad and that I should've gone during recess and in reply, I shouted just as loud and said "I'M ON MY DAMN PERIOD!" So she just said "go." And stepped away 💀 I still don't know how my introverted ass got so loud in front of a teacher.

stained my skirt in school once and so i tied my blazer around my waist. when i was walking back to class w my friend, we had our art sir stop us and ask me if school was a place to "do fashion." looked him dead in the eye and said that sir, i'm on my period and i stained my skirt. that man swerved around and went the other way so fast without even looking at me lmao

In my school, even guy teachers would say, just go if you need to. Almost every male teacher was a father.
It was good times when our class teacher said "we know you girls have to go through certain things. Don't be embarrassed about them"

There was this one time my period started during PE so I told my coach and she said I didn't have to participate that day if I was cramping, then another coach asked why I was sitting down so I told him I was excused by someone else, and he doesn't believe me so I go to her again and when I tell her she gives him the DEADLIEST glare I have ever seen, the fear on his face 😭
