I recently switched over to HLG-3 myself. It’s definitely a lot easier to expose than S-LOG but I still find the shadows can be a wee bit noisy at times so I still try to follow the ETTR (“Expose to the Right”) rule and bump the exposure one or two stops according to the situation (using the histogram as a guide). Pro Tip: The HLG-3 to Rec. 709 utility LUT from Paul Leeming is a godsend for color correcting your HLG-3 footage. Marc, do you apply a utility LUT before applying your creative LUTs?

I'm Using a6400 and i think Cine 4 profile is the best to my point of view. I used before HLG and SLOg

Hello, I have just followed u in IG and YT.. Your photography are nices.. I just brought a a6400.. I just wonder what is the detail if the PP you using in IG? I like those colour tone and I hope I can post my photos to IG directly without spending too much time to work on the post production. Please advise.

First channel when i heard you need to over exposed in s log. Never heard it anywhere else. I agree 100% it took me a while to figure it out by myself.
