For as far as MLS has come, our league’s refereeing is still sorely lacking, and this game served as yet another reminder of that. Seems like these kinds of games happen weekly at this point. If this ref had the kind of performance he had tonight in a stadium in Europe or South America, he wouldn’t have made it out of there alive.

This ref was awful. The first goal shouldn't have been allowed and the red card was a joke. Imagine is a ref did this performance in the premier league.

Colorado's ability to pull a defeat from the jaws of victory is astounding. Up a man for ~40 minutes on a BS red card and barely even managed to generate a shot. AND conceded a goal. Amazing.

MLS officiating was absolutely embarrassing in this game.

mls highlights suck so much. 720p, no lineups, hard cuts (sometimes they show the replays of key moments instead of showing it as it happened). I think espn highlights are also 720p

Ever since RSL came into Seattle and won a shitbird playoff game with hard fouls, time wasting, and general shitbirdery, every team seems to try the same tactics. Fouls were ~16-5 this game, that’s been a theme of all of our home games.

I get that Seattle is a tough away game, but at some point mls needs to get their head out of their ass. Playing hard is not the same as playing like shitheads and we will lose another key player if this league doesn’t recognize this pattern.

I felt the referee actually had a decent game until that atrocity of a red card. This league and every team continue to make progress, but it seems that the officiating stays at a comical level.
