this dynamic doing escape rooms work so well for many reasons: rae is super animated so it’s fun to watch her solve these things head-first + the underdog between the two so it always feels rewarding when she does win. toast on the other hand, is a quick problem-solver, patient, and seeing him feel challenged is super refreshing. the contrast between their approach in solving escape rooms is fun as a viewer. i like that the both of them are always excited to try the rooms and not rage quit bc it always sucks when players give up midway.
