That was thoroughly thought of by Bungie. It was done so they could virtually produce more gameplay hours than strictly necessary. Like what Digital Extremes did with void relics

It used to be a new weapon and a new challenge every week, now it’s every challenge and a new weapon a week.

Id say thats actually nice. You can choose a week with a specific weapon you can at that point, soend extra time farming that one weapon

Man the last raid i participated in was kings fall d1 and the reason i stopped raiding is because i learned quick that the friends i had abandoned me because i had a life and would never invite me to raid or always had a full raid party. It sucked the confidence i had in raiding. so even though i clocked in hundreds of hours on d2 i never raided. People are quick to leave behind the ones who dont put in 10 hour play days and boost their light level beyond what i have making me too weak to run anything with my "friends"

Thanks for letting me know, I wanted to farm Rufus's Fury adept but thought It'll be hard because the other adept weapons dropping. Now that I know the next time Rufus's Fury is on the rotation please make an update.

At this point, I'm surprised you can't just buy a bundle of the weapons lol

I quit years ago and have never regret that decision. You get what you pay for.

Adept weapons aren't really even worth it.

You get:
- A special shader
- +3 to all non-masterworked stats
- The option to enhance all your perks, but not change the third and 4th columns. That's if it's even craftable.
- Adept mods, but let's face it... everyone just runs an enemy spec.

Crafted weapons on the other hand:
- +2 to non-masterworked stats
- Full perk customization and enhancement
- Way easier to obtain, and are a prerequisite to enhancing adept weapons anyway.
