Calibrating the EasyTag's Built-in Compass

Calibrating the EasyTag's built-in compass is quick and just takes a few seconds.

The compass must be calibrated because magnetic north (where a compass points) differs from true north (the top of a map). Magnetic declination varies depending on your location.

If you're more than 1,000 miles/1,600 km from the previous place you used the EasyTag, it should be calibrated to ensure a correct reading.
