Great post Ben, thank you. Yes the East and South rivalry started back when the Dockyards were at their prime. It continued but the Krays/Richardson's did not care about football as far as I remember. Where is Canning Town "Hard Man" Danny Dyer in these clips, LMAO! It was a crazy time and in the 80's and early 90's it was going on everywhere. Respect to all firms across the land, if they were still prevalent now maybe the illegals may get back on their Dinghies. Lover your posts.

I'm just watching canning Town & ICF BRUTAL you said about a stabbing in the 80s in the subway they was actually 2 stabbings and they where both together ie friends the lad that died his name was Terry a very good friend of mine back in the day and his mate who was with him was stabbing the neck survived dont live to far away from me now . Terry was a lovely lad but when football came he changed and I was with him out drinking in Maidstone the night before he died sadly missed to this day. He was 19 when he died

Ginger Bob single handedly streamed into 10000 West ham and knocked 20 of them clean over the wall of the stadium the rest bottled it and ran over tower bridge and didnt stop running till they got home. That's true I swear on my mums life 😂

Biggest mass mob brawl I ever saw/was involved in was Birmingham/West Ham. FA Cup Quarter final, I think about 84/85. West Ham bought the biggest mob I have ever seen. Invaded the pitch a couple of times, before Birmingham fans did the same. The fighting lasted all night around the streets of Birmingahm city center. It was relentless. I dont think either side could say they did the other, but a lot of people got hurt that day.

We was at Doncaster that day and there was only about 400 millwall up there being we was shit and in the old 3rd division and it’s true West Ham proper had us over when we got back but get the numbers right, no way we had a firm of 5-600 at kings x, out of 400 your probably talking 150 and trust me West Ham had hundreds
Not saying it didn’t happen coz it was probably the biggest time I’ve seen millwall come unstuck but don’t make out we had better numbers

Did anyone mention hibs at the Ilderton Road end turnstiles getting the shit kicked out of them. They were wearing tops saying these colours don't run. Quite accurate, because there was no where to run. Incidentally there were only about 70 hibs not 500 like I've read about. And all they did was smash up two empty pubs. Come to millwall when milllwall know you're coming then you can boast.

Using knives and such in a street fight is taking things too far.

Your history is totally flawed. The 'fairytale' that Millwall dockers broke the picket line is rubbish. The Dockers went on strike in 1889, and they ALL went out in a protest known as the Docker's tanner. No way did anyone fall out, as they were all on strike for the same thing! What was more likely, were the gamea that Millwall played against west ham in 1889 and again in 1906, where in the latter, tempers were running high due to the rough house tactics employed by west ham's team. One Millwall played had his shoulder dislocated and another was flung into the metal hoardings at the side of the ground and was badly injured. There was fighting on the terraces and outside the ground. That is the real source of the animosity.

They’ve took down the statue of Hans Christian Anderson in Copenhagen and replaced it with one of Ginger Bob from Millwall 🤣

Millwall always took the piss out of West Ham and called them grasses for writing books about the hooligan era.
If course, the joke was that Millwall were planning on writing a book, but can't find anyone in the firm that can read and write.
