Man, words can’t describe what my body went through hearing this cover. This is my grandfather’s song and said he wants it played at his funeral; by Sam Cooke. I was raisied in Florida in the 2000s to T-Pain so hearing this brought so much joy into my body in a strange way. Gramps is still alive and I just wanna say I love you bruh.

Folks, I don’t know about you, but I’m sure glad we live in an era where music artists can put out whatever genre speaks to them and it’s eaten up. I just listened to his War Pigs cover, and he killed that, then I came to this one, and he killed that too. This is one of my favorite Sam Cooke tracks (along with “Another Saturday Night”) and I think T-Pain did this proud. The world needs more T-Pain covers! (Especially the metal ones, would like to see him cover Dio or Maiden!)
