I think having a 3 row bench would be more practical than having 2 captain seats.. If ur coming from CX-5 upgrading to a bigger car.. And it’s disappointing that Mazda placed the 7 seats options as the based model.. Unlike at Australia market, the 7 seater CX-8 has the option of a high spec or as the call it ‘the ASAKI’ option which is equipped with all the bells and whistles.. I booked the CX-8 prior to launch and immediately cancel my booking when Mazda Malaysia placed the 7 seater option as the based model..
