However, it is disheartening that certain individuals, both in the West and Asia, perpetuate hostility, racism, and resentment instead of embracing a constructive approach. This propensity is notably associated with the influence of Donald Trump (Glad he's guilty of a crime). Since his ascendancy to the presidency, there has been an upsurge in animosity and the normalization of discriminatory conduct. Nevertheless, it is imperative to acknowledge that the United States grapples with its own array of challenges, from widespread criminality and homelessness to societal division and internal animosity. Although no country is exempt from imperfections, my personal experiences residing in China and other Asian locales have been marked by a profound sense of safety, comfort, and enjoyment. After having lived there for almost ten years (mostly in China) in Asia, I resumed traveling around Asia in order to not just continue a series of photography projects (which I did in China) but also a series of video documentary projects about each country I visit and live in.
