Game shoots have priced themselves out of the market for me, its a great day out but now beyond my pocket !! Its clay targets for me from now on, sorry guys !!

Just to say. Took up air rifle shooting. A tin of pellets cost £14. For a tin of 500. I can walk round my local farmers land.. I get a days rough shooting of vermin . With no more cost than the fuel it took to get me there, about £2 there and back

As luck would have it, just as I was watching this at 25 minutes on the price of grouse, I received an email from an agent offering late season day. £561.50 per brace. Yes, five hundred and sixty one pounds, fifty pence per brace.
Rates for shooting seem to be anywhere between £40 per bird and £65 for pheasants and partridge this year.
