This camera served us well for some long-form conference shoots. Good audio. Nice ergonomics. Excellent stabilization. However, we ended up opting for a Canon XF400 for superior highlight roll-off, better skin tones+color, higher bit rate, 4K60p recording that is every bit as beautiful as its 4k30/24, Canon's now-famous DPAF, an easy-access menu system and the user-friendly wide DR setting, which is an absolute joy to color grade (or not). Out of the can, the Z90 has that "Sony look" -- a very similar color science and roll-off to older Sony cams, making it easy to match with an EX1r, for example.

Don’t know much but I know there are plenty of better options sad far as 4k cameras go. Cannon m50 is one of my favorites and only cost 500. Takes great pics and videos. This Sony camera. Gives me local news channel broadcast quality vibes lol not sitcom vibes. Not cinematic vibes. Not music video vibes. Just dirty grainy real life looking footage

Can I stereomix two mini-jack microphones (not record them on separate audio channels but stereo mix them both), I want to use both my Sennheiser MKE440 stereo shotgun minijack to one XLR port and my Saramonic UWMIC9 dual wireless lav transmitters to 1 receiver mini-jack to XLR, mixing both in would be ok? Is it easy to secure that second mic on top? And to remove the built-in shotgun mic holder if not needed?

I am a Sony fan, but I am sick of the whole game of them trying to gauge just how little fans will accept and still buy new products. It is a toy for like what...$2800? The footage has been cooked by what I can only guess is a really talented colorist, but it still came off a 1" sensor and is the same old, same old - muted colors and knock the edge off the sharpness and then proclaim "CINEMATIC!"

Looks amazing! Low light is important to event filmmakers. Why are the Sony a7s 2 better in lowlight than these cameras? What if a news broadcaster, by mere chance, caught the Messiah jump out of a time portal with this camera at night. Then you would wish you had made it a better low light sensor, now wouldn't you?
