I agree totally. Attitude is key. I have been in this trade for 14 years now. Started out hungry, wanting to be the guy that my boss wanted on site when things broke and needed machined and fixed and I made it happen. I put the time in, a lot on my own time. First chance I got to learn cad cam was 8 years ago and I jumped on it and committed to it. Now I am head cnc programmer at my job and yet I am still hungry itching to learn new things yet now I teach the guys that weren’t so fortunate as I was perhaps and I try to lift everyone up around me. I love what you are doing Titan and one day I hope to own my own shop and further lift and support others. I watch your videos every time you put one out. Thank you! Boom. See you soon on your next video!

Man you are working some over time on the videos. Keep it up. I have my 13 year old son working on the building blocks to learn cnc so he can help me out when I am to busy to do everything. I even have him coming up with new products that he can use for what interest him. Keep it up!

AN AM PUTTING IN THE TIME. currently shopping for a pre owned cnc lathe to start with. I have shown your your youtube video on why millennial matters to the TEENS at chhurch, and it was very inspirational

My coworker told me about your channel. And I am hooked. I been in the industry for about 10 years mostly production machining. I have finally been able to learn programming. You are my hero!! I firmly believe we can “Make it in America”. Off to the Academy to get this started.

Titan. I worked 15 years as a machinist, last 5 years on EDM machines, used to run 4 machines by myself, and I really enjoyed, I worked for a high precision company in Italy that use to make drawing dies, and all the tools necessary to make bolts and nuts on multi stationary machines, as well inserts in tungsten carbide for different applications. I worked also in traditional machines like lathes, mills, grinding machines for external and internal diameters, worked at the metallurgy lab where we used to mix all the powders to make different type of tungsten carbides, sintering ovens, presses, etc. In that period of time I learned how to work with all kind of machines, and I really loved it. Then I graduated and started performing more managerial roles on a multinational company, this is the 4th country I work, and don't get me wrong, I have learn a lot, but I feel like I am not enjoying my job nearly as much as I enjoyed while I was machinist. I have been in this country for 5 1/2 years and want to start my own business for machine shop, I think I have a lot to bring to the table, I agree that we need to bring back jobs to this country, I would like to contribute with this, and help other people to sustain their families.
I hate the fact that at the company I work for now, they always ask me to get parts from China, and the quality is not the same, they set me for failure right away.
I have a question. Do you think I will set myself to failure if I start my business just with traditional machines? As much as I would love to buy a CNC machine, and I know the manufacturing nowadays requires faster an more precise machines than traditional ones, they are too expensive for me now, do you have an advice for me what should I do?
I love your videos and I love your attitude, as well as your way to help people. Continue to do what you have been doing, you are a great man. BOOM!!!

Titan, you hit the nail on the head...Boom. I am a certified machinist for 25+ years, and to have a person that is hungry to learn with the right attitude, I WILL BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO GROW THIS PERSON!!! If this person grows beyond what I can teach, then I have done my job.
Hell, I may even learn something them also. BUT...being humble is your best path!
And yes...never stop learning, you will only be left in the dust if you do.

Having a positive attitude is very important especially when your going through learning curves in the trade. Titan your hitting all the sweet spots thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

I ran that machine for over a year in my last job and it was kick ass. The controls take some getting used to but once you got that the setups are really easy on it.

Hey Titan been watching for a while. Definitely needed a boost because we lost our shop and my house in the wildfires in Paradise CA. Been couch surfing trying to stay positive while we rebuild in a new town but it's been rough. Thanks for the content keeps me hungry to make this new shop better then the one before.

Hello Titan, you are doing a great thing by teaching us programming and sharing with each other your experience. I have my company, but since I've been watching you, I have a lot more motivation to act. Thank you so much for what you do. Greetings from Poland

Hey Titan, been in the business for almost 20 years. 12 on my own. I'm doing pretty good. Started from zero, like you with child support and alimony. Been good crazy ride, but last year I have to admit, been losing my fire. Day by day work, long hours. You know what I'm talking about. Then one day I saw one of your videos on YouTube. A man with so much passion for machining. Oh man, thanks to you it's back, the 🔥fire is back. I don't know how to describe it. But that drive is back. Thank you so much Titan.

Hi Titan. I have my own production shop in EU that has nothing to do with machining however for our production we need some plastic molds. I have always been interested in 3d printing and machining so I bought myself cheap 4000USD chinese router (yeah I know; EU made would be 3 times more expensive) to make these molds myself just because I always like to learn new things.
Today I tried for the first time to machine one mold of hard PU plastic in full depth (10mm). Even my cheap CNC router cut it like a butter at 80 IPM...wow!
Really thankful to you for everything you are teaching us! I wil definatelly try to push it harder just to see the limits!
Thanks again! Greetings from Slovenia!

Titan... to add to what you are saying at 3:30, something to enlighten the older people thinking it's a young person's opportunity: I have been in the industry since 1993, and have never seen a bigger demand/shortage for skilled machinists, CNC operators, setup people and programmers. Great opportunity for anyone with vision, drive, and self-discipline. Take the opportunity!

Boom. I'm getting excited man I've been down for a while. I'm moving and I'm having a hard time finding the right shop and the right apartment etc. But I just gotta keep it up and I can't stop rising just because someone else wants me too. We have a responsibility to our nation and to our families to lift each other up and make it happen.
