In today's video, we've got some exciting news about upcoming characters and a new Trailblazer path that's rumored to be coming to Honkai Star Rail in the near future. Keep in mind that most of this information likely pertains to the version 3.0 patch and beyond, as many of the 2.0 characters have already been revealed through official or unofficial channels.

A reliable source with a solid track record recently posted that several existing characters will receive new alternative transformations in the future. These could potentially turn them into new five-star characters with limited banners, similar to Dan Heng IL, or into free transformations like the Trailblazer or March 7th, which you can switch between.

Let's break down the details:

First, the HSR Team Mew source claimed that Ruan Mei will eventually become an Aeon in the game's story and gain a brand-new form. This makes sense, as Ruan Mei has repeatedly mentioned her life's goal of ascending to become the Aeon of Cultivation. It’s likely she will achieve this goal later in the plot, potentially leading to a new limited banner with a different element and path—much like what happened with Dan Heng, who transitioned from Wind Hunt to Imaginary Destruction.

Another character mentioned is Tingyun, who is set to get a PV video in the future featuring her traveling through a ghost city by boat. This is likely tied to the five-star Tingyun that was revealed some time ago. If you’re not aware, there was a major info drop a month ago indicating that Tingyun, thought to be dead in the story, will eventually get her own five-star form and feature in a limited banner in version 2.7. While her element and path are still unknown, we did get a 3D render of her new form.

The source also mentioned that characters with extensive stories, like Himeko, Welt, and Silver Wolf, will receive a similar path system to March 7th, with their new forms being free to obtain—even for originally limited five-star characters. So, if you don’t have Kafka, for instance, you could still get her alternative form without owning her as a limited unit.

Lastly, the source stated that the next Trailblazer path after Harmony will be Nihility, which seems like the obvious next step. However, this conflicts with other information suggesting that the next Trailblazer path will be Remembrance. We’ll have to wait and see which one turns out to be true.

i like what they're doing with the alternate forms. it reminds me of honkai impact 3rd, where characters will have multiple limited versions in the form of new battlesuits. this way, they don't have to constantly introduce new characters, so that already existing characters with strong lore and writing can continue their relevance in the story. much better than getting new 5- stars that are unimportant to the story or we don't really care about

If we get a Remembrance TB, HSR would be giving a completely new combat path. Remembrance works around debuffs, so both could be true; Remembrance TB with the nihility combat path

wait im pretty sure you need to own the character to even get the new path of that character i don't see hsr being that giving yk what i think might happen is that when you get the character you will get an event for that character to obtain the paths eidolons and the path its self just like they did with march and this event is permenent event, it would be cool if they did that.... so you get blasted with events the moment you open up the game lol
