How to fix a Loose Door Handle - Replace broken spring

In today's video, it's back to a spot of DIY and we look at how to replace a Broken Door Handle Spring.

If your Door Handle is loose and does not go back to it's usual 90 degree position, then the chances are that the spring has broken/snapped.

In this video, we go over the steps to replace the Spring and get the door handle back to fully working.

No need to replace the door handles, purchase a replace spring and follow the steps in the video.

Just done this to 3 door handles. Thank you so much. Saved me a few quid on new door handles. Also noticed one of the latches was very stiff so took it out and dropped in some graphite powder. Handles are working like a dream now. Thanks again.

Do you measure the springs by how many turns they have ? I presume the sizes are not universal. Nice video.
