The hike from from Boğazcık to Kaleköy on the The Lycian Way was a long one - we ended up walking 19 kilometers on very rocky terrain. The absolute beauty of this part of the Lycian Way more than made up for it though. The area is full of history in the form of ancient graves and ruins.

The Lycian Way is a 540 km long thru hike. It is a way-marked footpath that takes zbout 29-day's to complete. It winds along the south coast of Turkey It starts at Ölüdeniz by Fethiye and goes to Antalya. The old trail is a combination of Roman roads, old footpaths and mule trails. It was researched, designed and waymarked by Kate Clow in 1999. The Lycian Way is Turkey’s first long-distance walking trail.

Thanks for all your great videos. I'm always looking forward to the next one and they make my day! Happy! I did the Camino in Spain this summer but now I'm planning to walk the Lycian Way in spring/summer 2021. I have bought a tent and some other stuff so now I'm ready for planning the rest. You inspire me!

Best Content in Youtube about Lycian Way! Btw are you actually still doing the trekking right now? Im in Antalya and want to start roaming Lycian way soon in mid December. Here is cold already, and im wondering if all the pensiyon still opens or do i have to buy camping gear? Thanks!

Thank you for sharing.

Are there always dogs following you? Do you think it's possible to avoid the dogs if you don't feel comfortable around them? Thank you.
