Man that is the one thing I miss about not just Chicago, but Northern Illinois in general is the great Italian Beef. Like you can find good Pizza places all over, there is also a lot of places you can find that do Chicago style hot dogs. But man finding a good Italian Beef is so tough though, there is a Portillos semi close by but as good as it is, it's just not the same as a local sit down restaurant. The best you can get around here is a handful of places serving a French Dip, it's good but it's just not the same.
