Addicted to your channel and recommendations, honestly. I'd never thought that I'd trust someone's taste in books so much, but your recs have yet to let me down. Thank you for your wonderful content, love love love!

I'm a big Stephen King fan and I've read every book mentioned in the video. My all time favorite King book is The Long Walk, which is rarely on these "top" lists. Fun video Willow!

I took a quick read through of the article too to find where some of my favorites landed in this list. "Salem's Lot" has always been near the top of my personal list of favs. Hats off to Adam for ranking these. Very interesting snippets with each too that I appreciated. I must say - I thought that I had read a lot of Stephen King books. But, this list showed me that I have not. I know I do not care for the Dark Tower series. Maybe that's when I stopped following along?! More titles caught my eye to add to my reading wish list. Great Video!

Unrelated to the video, my $120 order that was all your recommended books came in. I’ve read two: Our Wives Under The Sea and Breasts and Eggs. Both five stars. I am known among my friends to be really critical of books and barely give out five stars, so they’ll be shocked 🤓 your recommendations and hard work definitely pay off!! Never doubt that. I am falling in love again with the literary genre💜

I loved Nightshift.. Read it when I was in high school. Quitters Inc was a genius story, I remember.

I grew up and still live in small town Maine. Stephen King was the first "grown up" author I ever read, starting in fifth grade. My comments here are an engagement, definitely not a criticism, as I agree, that this is very well-written by Adam, and I enjoyed the entire article. Oh, and before I forget, Stephen King had his name removed from "Lawnmower Man", the movie, because it was using his name but in no way even vaguely an adaptation of the story.
While I was surprised to see "Duma Key" so high, I must say I was also impressed by the deep dive. I enjoyed it tremendously. Would not be so high on my personal list--- maybe in the top thirty, which, with King, is still pretty high--- but it was a great read.
My list would have "The Shining" and "11/22/63" higher, would not include "Wizards and Glass" or Dolores Claiborne" in the top twelve, and would swap out "Everything's Eventual" for "Skeleton Crew". I also was surprised "Different Seasons" didn't get a mention....
And just a question: in the UK editions of "The Stand" the character is called Garbage Can Man? I know him so well as Trashcan Man, so I am genuinely curious if Trashcan is something that would need changing for UK editions.
Great, fun video! Stephen King makes me feel warm and fuzzy, like coming home. Cracking one of King's books, even if it is brand new, is like slipping into nostalgia for me.
Oh, fun fact--- rumor has it that Joe Hill helped him end "11.22/63", which might be a good thing--- "IT" would be very high on my list if not for the ending. And if the rumor is true, Joe helped him create a very poignant, perfect closure to that novel..

I've been putting off reading Stephen King for the longest time just due to the massive scope of his writing but this list has me convinced. I'm picking up The Gunslinger. Thank you Willow and Willow's friend, Adam. :)

I always thought I was the only one who enjoyed Needful Things. :)

My favorite writer by far! I've read them all and quite agree with Adam. I've seen many of these videos on King, and, read countless articles like Adam's, and, dare I say well done! The Gunslinger is certainly my favorite, closely followed by 11/23/63, Gerald's Game, and most recently Duma Key. Thanks for the video. 👍

Adam did do a really good job with the list. I'm still very slowly working my way through them in no particular order but I'm curious how I'll feel compared to Adam's list if I ever finish everything

I'm glad no one is with me to see the derpy smile on my face while I watched this. lol I've read 11/12 of these! Wizard and Glass has been in my collection for a long time and still haven't read it. Skeleton Crew should have been higher on this list, according to me. My favorite story in that one is the one where a grandmother kicks the bucket when it's just her and her grandson in the house. Also imo Nightmares and Dreamscapes is his best collection of short stories. Oh and if you read Dolores Claiborne read Gerald's Game as well. I've read half of the article but I will read the entire thing soon. Adam really is a good writer. :)

This was a really great video!! Though i have to say, as someone who's read about 30 stephen king books, night shift is probably at the bottom of my list hahaha

I loved this! I had never heard of Duma Key before but I think I'm going to have to read it.

"The Last Rung on the Ladder" from "Night Shift" can still bring tears to my eyes 😭💔

... I just realized I've never seen the English title for "Pet Sematary" written out before! All the SK books I've read were my dad's copies and he doesn't speak English so I read them all in translation. Seeing the cover I got confused for a sec thinking I'd forgotten how to spell cemetery but then you said it was intentional!
Love the video :) I've been meaning to read Night Shift for a while, maybe this is my sign to read it this spooky season!
