Blue Mountains NSW Australia - 48 hours of waratahs, waterfalls, 'wows' and wine tasting

It is no secret that the Blue Moutains is our second home, Nick actually used to live here for work. We had plans to camp this weekend but the weather forecast was NOT kind, widespread flooding meant that our camping plans were no longer safe so we booked a night in the Blue Mountains instead (we were not cranky about it at all).

We hike to Hanging Rock, see HUNDREDS of waratahs and probably get a bit too excited over them, we venture to lookouts, do a night walk, go wine tasting, check out a new brewery, get drenched on waterfall hikes and top the weekend off with a spot of cider tasting!

Safe to say we had a brilliant time as always, this is just the smallest snapshot, we have so much more to show you another time (or times most likely).

Just watched this one from start to finish. What a great trek. Loved the waterfalls, the night walk in the caves, and all those stairs! Hanging Rock looks a bit scarey I think I’d admire it from a distance too. A shame about the rain. Although it did make those waterfalls look spectacular. Its hard having an outdoors channel with all this rain at the moment. Really enjoyed it. Stay travels 😃👍

Wow those rocks are phenomenal. The views are stupendous. Seems like a great hike. Lol the Lord and Queen of the Flies. That overlook looks amazing. Very tropical looking forest. Leeches are no good. That waterfall! Holy Baby Jesus that's amazing. So cool.
