There are definitely pros and cons to both appliances. I have Atem mini Pro and I use Vmix as my streaming software. Maybe it would be nice to try the devices together, I imagine an Atem connected to the Yolobox. Sometimes you have to do two directions, one is streaming instead another on screens in the conference room, on this occasion you need a double direction, having both would not be wrong.

Adrian, currently i use streamyard to stream simultaneously to both fb and YouTube at the same time at a fees. I know yolobox can do multiple streaming but my streaming always involves interviewing guests who’s at other places online, how do i do that using yolobox?

I would like to see you make a video about Multicam recording ! I have given up on Final Cut Pro, now starting with
ATEM MINI PRO ISO. I love it makes file that works perfectly with Resolve and makes for EASY multicam sync/edits !! Any other options out there as easy or easier ??

I have the ATEM Mini Pro. I like that I can connect four cameras and control audio inputs. It sucks for overlays and lower-thirds though.

Nice review Adrian…But really one thing one thing i want to know was is it possible that my mixer console main out audio can connet to yolobox audio in? coz im a musician . i have to use professional mic, music player or keyboard and guitar instrument at the same time, so i have to use mixer console . So we know we'll be getting a tiny multiview monitor on the very next release from Black Magic of the ATEM series. I'll be buying a mini pro ISO as cheap as I can get. Probably. It's for a studio podcast environment. Looks like I'll be learning to edit in Resolve.

If that's possible, I think we could get the best of both devices and a spare encoder as a backup.
I would go for Atem Mini Pro + Yolobox.

Great video, thanks :). Has anyone figure out how to do replays on the yolobox pro?. I stream soccer games and I want to be able to replay the goals, so the last 10 seconds everytime someone scores. Thanks in advance.

I think Yolo has the edge due to the fact it has a monitor and audio output for headphones. Atem is not "self-controlled" and has no audio out jack. I would still opt for Yolo. Just seems to be so much more user friendly.

Thank you for this video. With the Yolo, can I record onto the SD, then input the SD into my computer and cut clips for posting just small clips to the internet? I got a little confused on that one part of your video.
