Are there any command line programs we can use? I know macOS has a native sftp program but I had no clue how to use it and couldn't navigate the documentation well enough to learn to use it.

Thanks again, I am curious what my server credentials are? I know this may sound stupid, but I really do not know what server credentials are? Thanks again

This my first try at FTP. I have commander one, but have never really tried since I really do not know what the benefit is? I have a weather station and it states that an FTP is an important part of my station?? Thank you for the video/. Nicely done and to the point.

Is it possible to upload files from the Mac to the FTP Server?

Using this to transfer files using a device in server mode. By default the MacBook will use iTunes. It will see the files but when connected in server mode they become greyed out and will not transfer. Had it working a week ago but no luck now.

Viewers comparing Commander One to Transmit 5 or Forklift should check for themselves whether the criticisms in this video are valid. 0:35 The claim that Transmit has "limited capabilities" is unsubstantiated, and the point about it costing more than Commander One seems countered by their current costs both being $45 (not counting coupons).
Regarding Forklift: 0:39 "Forklift doesn't even sync your settings [...] which means every single time you want to reconnect to a server, you have to [...] re-enter information". This is highly misleading and partly incorrect. First is to realize that this is not about syncing _directories and files_ which is far more important. Instead it's about the ability to share the server info that you've configured on one Mac with other Macs that you also use sometimes to run Commander One. If you only use Commander One on a single Mac, this is irrelevant. Evidently ForkLift didn't have that feature, at least not conveniently. But obviously it does have the basic feature to configure info about servers and save it for your later use so you don't have to "Re-enter information".
Now, for all I know, Commander One may be better than the other two FTP programs mentioned here and the other at least 6 competing programs. But the particular points this video chooses to make about the competing products are sufficiently dubious that it casts doubt on Commander One.

I've been using cyberduck for years... I like the UI of transmit, but really, it's sooo rare that I have to use ftp...
