The Link Between Love and Obedience (February 13, 2021)

In this passage of Scripture, Jesus is preparing his disciples for His eventual death, resurrection, and the beginning of the Church. He is leading the disciples to the truth of how God's love impacts our lives taking us beyond friendships into something spiritual and superior. We will consider John 15:9-11 where Jesus teaches us about the link between love and obedience with the impact it has on our lives, and His Church.

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
