I had a 9N back 25 yr ago and kept fiddling with the ignition without success. I had a garage mechanic, I ask him if he could convert from 6v to 12v and upgrade the ignition. It took about two hours to convert, after that I never had a problem getting it to start again. Jason you won't regret the. expense in the end...

You are just like a kid in the candy store when you dive into a project! So happy to see the results of your hard work with the cast iron and I see how happy you are to enjoy the results being cooked in the cast iron! As always, the Cog Hill gang puts a huge smile on my face!

My mother passed in 1997. My sister and I split all of her cast iron . I got her cornbread ear, and her largest skillet. My sister got her Dutch oven and 2 skillets small and medium. But my best find out in the pasture was a cracked Dutch oven I took and had black Smith weld it between the frame of my great grandmother wheel plow. He put 3 leg so it wouldn't tip over. Satin black paint. Panses Johnnie jump up in fall spring and moss roses in summer. Generations are at my home. Mom/ Shirley and great grandmother/ willy mae. Memories saved

Jason, my grandparents had a burn pit and I remember when my grandfather would start the pit up, my grandmother would sit her cast iron in it and let it burn all that bottom greasy stuff off. It would work.

Matilda is moving right along. Her front leg is getting stronger thanks to your exercises. I am impressed with how she is progressing.

Thanx for sharing your sunset and mad scientist experience. I have a old muffin pan, cast iron, heart shaped muffin cups. Will save it for a project for my son, ❤️

Mootilda is getting some great therapy from the goats, too!!❤

I knew you would think about the cats with the Mad scientist tank open on the top. Cats are known to be very curious. Adding the lid did the trick😃

Love how you stirred the soap for the cast-iron skillets that was pretty clever. It’s not every day you use a canoe paddle to stir the soup. Have a great day.😊

Using a self cleaning oven works great. Have been cooking with cast iron all my life and once you reseason them they are great

I would absolutely love it if Peaches could give a shout out to Kendrick and Amy. They are my 2 and 4 year old grandchildren that are in love with her. We read the books all the time.

Your ending shot and the beautiful sunset with moon and the sound of the barnyard anmals internally said to me " Oh, little town of Bethlehem".

You are the voice and environment of the reason for the Christmas season. For me a little touch of heaven with Cog Hill Farm.

Thank you Jason

I currently cook only in/on cast iron. I'm 73 and a few pieces I got for our wedding in 1972. Other pieces I use were my MIL's and HER mother's cast iron pans. That means I regularly use cast iron pans that are over 125 years old! The older pans were cleaned and re-seasoned in the 80's. I take care of my pans and they have never needed re-seasoning other than that. Great pans!

I have my Granny's cast iron cookware, including a Dutch Oven, a cornbread pan, two irons used to iron clothes, and others. My dad said that she would put her cast iron into a fire to clean it really well and then season it.
