It's ironic that all these designs have Concorde characteristics. This design was conceived back in the 50's so actually not a lot has changed.
By the way l was an aircraft technician apprentice at Rolls-Royce in Bristol who built the engines for Concorde and was 9 when l saw Concorde 002 fly over my house on her maiden flight. To a 9yr old it was a fantastic sight.

Hasn't single stage to orbit always been an unobtainable dream?

Oh these aircraft look so archaic like land speed cars in the early 1900s

V Wings look cool but they would work better if the front part was the straight edge of the wing, and the tail could be larger and higher on the fuselage, T shaped with a V shaped top fin, again with the straight edge facing forward. The "drag" this would create will actually cause the craft to nose up and climb naturally, using the atmospheric gasses at high speeds like a boat would use water to float on. Otherwise it's just a ballistic missile.

SR72 from what I heard that was just a mock up foe the movie and not a real design. Skunk works madenit up for the movie. Not sure if you said all that or not the sound on my end was hit and miss. Thank you for the video its was a good topic.

I think the funnises part about this, is that, out there, some random nerd with no fancy education, not much money, could do better.
But since he's not rich, not famous and not gone through some "vetting" fancy school. No one will ever know.
Maybe in 10 years when some less smarter, but much richer person gets picked up by one of these companies.
I wish schools were different, so they wouldn't hold back smart people. Elon musk is going the right way from what i've heard.

6 years to work with something you could learn in 6 months? Why? Learn to do what you are told even though it's useless i guess. Crazy waste of time for no reason.

Just because it was seen in a movie, doesn't mean anyuthing in reality. Riddle me this. Why would the USA invest untold billions in such a flying craft when the job can be done with rockets, which are a lot faster, easier and cheaper to do the very same job? Answer, they would not. Sorry, but your dreams of seeing something you saw in a "movie, which is make believe" are just that, a silly dream.
