I’d recommend learning the basics of anatomy and also how to construct the head using the loomis method if you decide to continue. Even if you’re drawing from reference those will help a ton, or reference life too so you can learn proportions and then learn how to break them.

hello, self taught artist here
if you plan on drawing for long term, right now you will be all happy, but after some time, the reality begins to set and comes the most discouraging and most unmotivating phase in art and drawing, what im saying is as you improve, your sense of what looks right and what doesnt look right will become really sensitive, so sensitive if your drawing doesnt feel exact you'll probably rip it off and put it in the trash, good luck and remember, talent does not decide your skills well.. because its a drawing is a skill, not a talent

As someone who draws their own manga for 8 hours a day everyday, drawing from reference is good, as it helps your art work look better and also helps teach you anatomy as you draw from reference (as long as your understanding why things look the way they do in the reference photo). HOWEVER, I dont think that drawing from references is always a good thing to do, you should also be drawing without reference to see where your actual skill level is and how well you understand both anatomy and also physics, from hair, to clothes to booba. Once you identify your weak points when drawing from your imagination you can focus on those areas when your drawing from reference. I truly believe that being a good artist is being able to produce amazing art without needing a reference.

Hey man this video was really inspiring to me and I’m wondering when you did your drawing everyday did you look at a picture and kept drawing and looking back at the picture or did you just think of it and free hand it without looking at a picture thanks!

Still a big improvement for just only 30 days but did you learn how to draw circles, squares? Just to improve your perception on how you see them as simple shapes. Sorry if My english is bad

If you want to draw everything I advise you to stop worrying about styles and just draw from observation (could be with reference images but it's much better if you just draw what you see in real life) with pens, you will get better really quickly doing this!

Day1: you tried to learn from Akihito Yoshitomi? He's great, and you did great, but he's hard to learn from for beginners. I tried.
