Technically the Wii VC version of SMB does have savestates? When you exit out of the game and open it again it’ll start where you left off when you open it again

The FDS SMB1+SMB2J disk is interesting. From what I recall, in the original SMB2J you needed to flip to side B around World 4 or 5. I'm guessing in later prints they managed to fit the whole thing on one side of the disk? Either way pretty cool!

6:38 If the vertical resolution of this game matches the 3DS upper screen's (Judging from the two rows of floor tiles - no cropped top and bottom pixels), then realistically it would only be horizontally stretched with a bilinear filter. On my 3DS screen, this doesn't look bad.
