I met Donald Sutherland the year "A Dry, White Season" was released. SUCH a powerful movie!! I worked for the radio station in Cincinnati that interviewed him as part of the movie promotion. He was a beautiful, down-to-earth, humble man, who happened to be highly intelligent & an incredibly gifted actor!! Sincere condolences to his family!!

I haven't heard anything on the local news about this either and usually you do by now.

RIP Mr Sutherland....and condolences to the family.

One of my favorite scenes is when Sgt Oddball, Private Kelly and Sgt Big Joe faced down the German tank in Kelly's Heroes.

Another favorite character he played was the hitman in Hollow Point (A good movie overall)

Too many other favorites to list. Great acting tuns in their family.
I loved his son Kiefer in the movie The Cowboy Way (great movie overall)
