Anyone else think that if you're gay, bisexual, trans... some other alternative you'll more likely get exposure from the BBC than if you're say 'white working class and male?'
I'm glad to an extent the BBC seeks to broaden people's perspectives, but "classism" is the biggest prejudice in Western society bar-none!
And there isn't anywhere near enough effort to challenge this... in fact I think society more often compensates for tackling this by overreacting in other areas?
Easier to tweak around the edges, than to deal with the real difficult questions of prejudice in our society.
We should be challenging all prejudices with equal priority, but I do not think this is the case with class issues, and social mobility.
