Dr. Leighton Flowers responds to Jeff Durbin and, in fact, agrees with Durbin that we must continue to talk about God's grace--particularly in a time when people give so much time to lesser issues.

I'm grateful for people like you, L, who won't keep quiet about the love of God!

I thank God for this ministry every day. Recently in a Bible study I asked: "Can somebody here tell me for sure that God loves you and that Jesus died for you?"
Nobody would answer, so I told them to ask me. Someone did, and I answered:
"I have absolute certainty that God loves me because he so loved the world (everybody) that he gave his son. And I know Jesus died for me because he died for everyone."
Keep preaching and teaching, brother Leighton.

This unbiblical theology has crept in unawares in too many "Christian" churches. It causes doubt & often fatalism... keep preaching truth.

Calvinist's have such a twisted understanding of love and what a good Father is. It makes my blood boil that people claim that the god of Calvinism is the God of the bible.

Hi, Leighton. Greetings from Brazil. Here in Brazil I haven't really found much content about any option besides Calvinism and Arminianism. I used to struggle with that. Now I'm so grateful I speak English, so I can get to know about Provisionism and it finally fits and makes sense to me.

Dr. Flowers, you talking about what God keeps leading you to talk about is fine with me. You must be striking a nerve and/or speaking godly truth over a subject too close for comfort to those telling you to stop talking about this or that. We who support your ministry are not saying this. It is why we support you. God continue to bless you, your family and your ministries. 🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️

After evangelism comes discipleship. That is the necessary next step. And teaching doctrine is an essential element of discipleship.

Biblical doctrine covers a wide variety of subjects, and it's only logical that each teacher might spend more time on one particular area of doctrine than others. So, for example, there are plenty of preachers and theologians who take a special interest in end times prophecy. And others who are focused on origins (creation and how God did it).

Your emphasis is on presenting a biblical view of grace, which is actually more closely tied to the foundation of the gospel than most other doctrines that others focus on, so good for you! 👍

For the record, I have an interest in origins and prophecy and genuine biblical grace and a plethora of doctrinal issues. 😉

💯, we need to be less concerned about the conversation happening and be more concerned about the fact that it's not happening enough!

Keep up the great content! I just read your book Drawn by Jesus! So good! The church father quotes were super awesome. Question: have you come across any Church father who commented on Romans 9?

I went to a sportsball game on Monday and it had a rain delay that was so bad that we left, but earlier that day, I got to jump on a podcast with Tim Barber talking about God's works of grace! That was cool!

I don’t see why Leighton should cease speaking on these issues when we are currently witnessing an exponential increase in the popularity of Calvinism in general. I think there needs to be standards of biblical defense being made against everything that exalts itself against the Truth. Some should stand against Mormonism, Jehovahs Witness, 7th Day Adventism, New Age philosophy, New Thought, prosperity gospel, humanism, and now more than ever we need an awakening for the church to turn to the biblical prophets as they with Jesus warned us of the very days in which we live.

They "calvinist" complicate Who He is🌻
2 Corinthians 11:3 NKJV — But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

I think John Calvin had some interesting points and in some ways encouraged me to think more rationally about the scriptures and faith. But Calvinism totally ship wrecked my hope for others and my desire and willingness to evangelize or preach the Gospel!!
