My wife and I are Texans, but lived in Kentucky for almost 7 years. KY is ok, but Kentuckians aren't as friendly as they claim or as surveys claim they are. Making friends is very difficult and people are very hard to get to know. We tried everything to connect with people there and unless you are originally from there, don't expect to be welcomed. If you want to live in the South just move to TN or here to TX. People in other Southern states are so much more friendly from our experience!
