I Built a Bat Out of Scrap Metal!

I built a bat out of scrap metal, recycled electronics and other E-Waste! This project has been in the works for a long time and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I think a fine wire mesh would be great for the wing skin. And you can cut it in different triangles and change the angle of the grid

If you don't already have some on hand then I'm not sure how easy it is to source them but for the wings i might suggest x-ray films cut down to size.

There might also be some interesting sheets to be found in flatscreen tv's and monitors

I'd suggest welding the ears if possible to make it more stable and the umbrella idea is good and in my opinion it would look a smidge better with LED lights in the eyes that's all the judgment I have keep up the good work you taught me it doesn't matter what other people think about your work it's about what you think would go good with your project keep making more videos❤

Great work! Instead of adding the tiny bits of metal to the tips of the nails it might work to cut or grind the tips down to a more manageable shape to fit them together...

New subscriber here. I've never seen one of these mini welders before. I'd really enjoy a proper run down of how it works and maybe budget options, I see there are low amp/voltage ones on places like Ali express. Could you solder non-ferrous metals as an option?

I think it might be cool to use some translucent ribbon cables, or Polyimide Film tape for the wings

You could use black aluminium screen (like for screen doors) for the wings

This little vampire looks wonderful ! The skin for the wings you would be spoiled for choice I feel . There are so many beautiful black faux snake or lizard skins available although in keeping with the use of up-cycled parts the umbrella would be great too. Oh to hell with it... get the wife's black leather jacket out ! :)

not just the skin on the wings, imo the entire wings would be improved if you took an umbrella's joints to make the wing out of entirely.
