Very misleading ... that "Activating" theology.
1 Cor 12:8-11 => ("All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines.", Berean Study Bible)
("But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will", KJV)

But what you definitely fail to do is continue the reading on the whole chapter as usual 1Cor 12:28-30.
In verse 28, diversities of tongues is LAST for the Church.
In verse 29 : ("Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? ", KJV)
In verse 30 : ("Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?", KJV)

Futhermore, in 1 Cor 14:2-6, just a little below, what you easily leave out of your sermon, because clearly it's a sales pitch of something about personal pride more than anything.

In verse 2, ("For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. ", KJV)
In verse 3, ("But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.", KJV)
In verse 4, ("He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. ", KJV)
In verse 5, ("I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.", KJV)

And we clearly read that Paul WOULD like all to speak with tongues and goes on to say that greater is he that prophesizes than the one who speaks in tongue UNLESS he can interpret because it will benefit the CHURCH in edification.

What you preach is simple selfishness of gifts to elevate oneself, when we must be humble towards our Lord. You don't "activate" your gifts, they manisfest when it is HIS will. It's sad really.

1 Cor 14:13-14, and AGAIN, Paul goes back to the importance of interpretation.
13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. (KJV)
14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. (KJV)

I never saw anyone of you activation charlatans interpret your so called speaking in tongues, it's only videos about boasting that's it's a manifestation of the Holy Spirit and urge Christians to activate it for some reason. It's unsound doctrines.
