I quit believing in god at age 10 when my brother was killed in a car crash. Best decisiion I ever made. The last 10 years of my life have been much more fulfilling and much less disappointing because of it. That's right, I'm only 20 and I have already been atheist for 10 years! Reason trumps faith!

Music from documentary: God who wasn't there

The reason people are discussing atheism in this song is because they found it from a video called "Atheist". Youtube search "Atheist" and click the Vimeo link in the description. The guy who made it had his account hacked and the audio in his video got changed.
Aside from that relation, I wouldn't conclude that these lyrics are an attempt to portray atheism.

I am actually quite confused as to why this is considered such a massive song for atheists? Being one myself I don't get it, the lyrics sound more like it's talking about something like the matrix rather than God or religion??
