The crew of the ship are Indian. The construction workers on the bridge were immigrants from Latin America working for a contractor for the DOT, so presumably able to work here and therefore legal immigrants - how this country has built everything from the beginning to now. Filling pot holes at night for the convenience of traffic flow during the day. The pilot of the vessel at the time of the crash was American, a Baltimore resident. The people of Baltimore facing loss of work and all that it provides are also Americans, from many different places no doubt. They're all people that matter, with families and hopes and aches and pains and gripes and good days and bad days, and some, with no more days. To reduce *any* of them to "evil conspirators" based on absolutely no evidence, and repeated statements to the contrary, is so typically maga you can set your watch by it. Thanks for the comfort of laughter all the same. It IS the best medicine for aching hearts.
