Today we are going to talk about the range for simple frequency distributions what we loosely call discrete series.
As we know the range is one of the measures of dispersion.
It gives you an idea of how the data is dispersed.
And to calculate the range we use the simple formula R = L – S
Which is the difference between the largest and the smallest observations of the distribution.
So let’s look at this frequency distribution table of the data of the ages of children in an immunization clinic and see how we can compute the range of this data
