Here's what a typical day looks like for me as a 64 year old man, living in my van, with my dog Rupert!!

From what I see the dream is no longer to own a home, it's to hope you can afford a high-top van and be able to support it. Here in America, I see it more and more. It's almost as if the government is pushing us to be poor.

You're looking good. I have also decided that I would keep an "office" if I had to go into truck living. At my age I need to be self-employed, so I wouldn't have a employers office to go to. I've got a storage container at this point, because the "new rental" didn't have a shop (the old one did). Over the next year I will find an office with heat and electric (there is a very old building in my town with a few office spaces for rent with a shared bathroom for a very low amount) and transfer some of the storage container to that office and eliminate the rest. I'm giving myself a year to eliminate and move to the "new office" and set up an ebay biz (I've done it before).

Hi Kev! Nothing like watching a 'day in the life' of someone else's life, as it takes your mind off your own day to day worries. I'm not much of a burger eater, but yours looked so good! When I do have one, I love the combination of Swiss cheese and mushrooms on them. Even Bleu cheese with mushrooms is good. So funny about the dogs with the balls, not wanting to give them back! I had a dog once like that, who never wanted to give the ball back, but LOVED chasing them. My solution was to bring out a whole bag of balls, let her get tired out by chasing them all, then I'd just sit down with a large iced white wine and that was pretty much that, lol! 😂 *Remember to stay hydrated with actual water during this awful heat!*😊😊😊

thanks for taking us with you. Selling on Ebay is a bit of a mystery to me. I've bought a few things, mainly from larger retailers I guess. I'm just wondering if you could do a basic "tutorial" about selling on Ebay. I'm sure there's lots of people like me who would like to learn and I guess by now you've learnt the tricks of the trade and the good and bad. Looks like a delicious meal! You might have mentioned this before but do you have different parking spots for the van or do you tend to park in the same general area? Don't worry, I'm in Australia so I'm not looking for you.😀
