EF Johnson Viking II Tube 6146 Ham Radio transmitter Vintage tour

I decided that it was about time EF Johnson took us through his Flagship transmitter, the Viking II. I had to search the world for the viking. He appeared in a dream. Now he can show his works with pride. I admire the Johnson line/quality/history. Hope you like.

I owned one of these back in the day. I also owned a Viking I--which destroyed every tv set for miles. Then a a Valiant. That Valiant was one hellacious transmitter....with mercury vapor rectifier tubes that glowed purple. It was a work of art.

I think the video was great, but like others I think narration by you would had made it even better. These are great old pieces of gear. Love to own one some day. I used to work at a EF Johnson land mobile radio company and the owner had one of these.
