Purchased this machine and have 30
Hours on it. It is great so far. It’s a heavy machine, so you need to operate it like a traditional commercial walk behind. You can’t manhandle it like it’s a push mower. The machine has plenty of power with the command pro engine and the cut quality is what you’d expect from a scag. The machine is built very well. Prior to this machine I owned an xmark commercial 30. The xmark was a great machine but the scag is better in my option. I prefer the attention to detail and the build quality of the scag.

My uncle still has his Scag SW-36 from 1989. It spent many years mowing a pretty gnarly hill at his old house, and maintained about 3 acres of that property some of which was blackberry vine infested. Its still going strong. A bit of maintenance here and there as to be expected, but still a great mower.

When engaging the blade's, are you supposed to have the throttle all the way up or halfway. Just bought the 2022 type

Already have one, its working good but have some issues:
Its hard hold the blades and accelerator at same time cuz its a little heavy my solution was I use a velcro hook and loop to keep the blades on and can easily move the mower
The bag its hard to put in and out.Toro and exmark are more easy to do it.
I heard that a 100hrs the clutch can fail
That its true?
