Hospital kept our little one alive and strong. Very happy to have been at the right place. Truma at hospital has a potential to be death at home.

Hospital trauma can happen it’s true. However. People still pay midwife centers outside of a hospital, and then when women lose too much blood or their babies don’t make it, they regret not being at a hospital. There’s a reason people have babies at hospitals - my mom would be dead today if she hadn’t delivered at a hospital. She bled out even there and it was grim. You can still have midwives at a hospital. Giving birth is not just a regular Tuesday.

I had a coworker that kept telling me she couldn’t believe I was going to have a home birth. She then told me about her induction and 36 hour labor that ended in an emergency c section.

I live in a country where women breastfeed while crushing 2 vapes a day on a diet of double whoppers and cokes, traumatic hospital births are very low on my concerns list when it comes to American mothers.
