The hating started when Canelo got the WBC belt at 154. Marquez went on tv shows and on radio stations sayin Canelo didnt earn the WBC belt, nor deserve what he had and where he was at. From all of that I only agreed with the belt. I dont agree with the rest because Canelo has been putting in the work since he was 15 and its not his fault he was given the opportunity, you tell me what boxer wouldnt take advantage when opportunities present themselves.

If FM tries to hold Canelo as much as he does with his other opponents I dont see it that hard for Canelo to connect on FM. The other opportunity I see Canelo connecting is when FM gets on the ropes usually his opponents have short reach and try to go for his face. Canelo has descent reach and will fire away at floyds body while keeping his distance inatead of trying to go for his face. FM will have to hit and move all night long, and I just dont see it happening.

Marquez and Nacho confronted suleiman in an espn discussion talking about canelo not facing a top 10 contender for the vacant WBC. Marquez simply said that it wasn't fair to give canelo a vacant title shot against a non top 10 contender knowing that there were other more deserving top contenders who had work harder to get to that position and having a nobody take their place for the title bout was bullshit. canelo didn't even try acknowledge the bullshit and went instead and challenged marquez.

wtf people saying marquez is jealous. he has no reason to be jealous he's achieved what canelo might never achieve. he's only saying his opinion he didn't even say he's going to get a boxing lesson or something, he just said canelo might not be ready YET to face floyd (which is what most of the people think). i don't think there's bad blood going between them canelo has been always respecful towards marquez and viceversa. i've heard marquez saying in "golpe a golpe" canelo is a great fighter.

Till Canelo fought Trout, Marquez had said Canelo hadnt fought anyone which I agree with. So his prediction was Trout was going to beat Canelo, again np. But what happens after the fight? He goes on to say Canelos is not elite with the win over Trout, I agree but wtf is the point of saying that? Till now I havent heard him give Canelo credit for beating Trout, proving the haters wrong about his def, nor the improvements hes been showing.
