The way Eddie quickly and casually walks off stage, not knowing they just made the best version of this song ever! A true masterpiece!! ❤

This was the moment my dad (ultimate BobD fan) asked me: is this your Eddie? Of Pearl Jam? Black and Alive.. the band we listened to on our way to work? (Temporary work I did for my dads company incognito).. yes I said.. he said: that guy Eddie is a brilliant performer/singer.. absolutely fantastic

Sad that it never gets old & only gives chills to those with a conscience.

Dylan recorded this almost 60 years ago, 1963. This performance was 1992, 30 years ago. Here I am in February 2022, a few days into the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Sadly humans have changed very little through millennia. #PrayForPeace

Thank you Dylan for writing this. Thank you Vedder for perfecting it.

"Even Jesus would never forgive what you do." is one of the most amazing lines ever written.

In my humble opinion, one of the single best performances on YouTube. Powerful beyond words. One generation's spokesman performing another's most important song, in his prime, with the passionate energy it deserves. Incredibly moving stuff.

Eddie’s vibrato kills me. This version is how Dylan meant it to be sung. It is just haunting.

Dylan's powerful lyrics and Vedder's heroic voice. Amazing.

100% PERFECT. AS OLD AS THE WORLD AND AS CURRENT AS THIS RED HOT MINUTE. Vedder's performance gives me chills every damn time I watch, and I've watched it dozens of times. When will we stop letting murdering sociopaths run OUR world? Peace to all sisters and brothers. We truly are ALL FAMILY members of the human race.

I was 17 years old. My mom and dad were big Dylan fans and hated most of my music. Then, when Eddie finished up here, my dad goes "I like him, he has a Jim Morrison quality". I knew then, that this era of young bands, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden etc, were special.

Eddie hit that out of the park. He had all the Temper proppers off. He did it because he knows this song and sung it his way to me. That's aces
