No More Visa Interviews 2024 : Big Changes in US Visa Process, US Embassy & Visa Refusal | USCIS

Historically, the visa application process involved several steps, including filling out forms, submitting documents, and scheduling a visa interview with the US embassy, often resulting in weeks or months of waiting. With the new policy, the NVC will no longer require applicants to schedule an interview for visa approval, instead relying on the documents and information provided during the application process. This change is expected to significantly reduce waiting times, allowing applicants to obtain their visas more efficiently.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

These delays are still happening, when has this change taken effect? I am currently with my husband in Cuidad Juare Mexico spending enormous amount of money on hotel stay, car rental, food etc. I am very disappointed that our lawyer did not prepare us prior to the interview. Now we are stuck with no way out. I have to go back to the states for work leaving my husband all by himself.

Family still waiting to be interview it’s been 14 years, but illegal immigrants are lucky, they are given a chance to stay and get a job and for they’re next plan is give illegal immigrants a chance to own a house with government help! Not fair for us waiting for years!!!

This is why it's soooo important to consider your source when getting information. As a fraud prevention specialist I can tell you this is completely false. Free advice is worth the amount you paid for it

Please! Can someone take down this post? At first, it made me so very happy, only to find out it was fake! It only causes anxiety. If I had not read the comments, I would have shared them with people whom I know are applying for the visas as well

This channel is completely misleading and the information its providing is fully inaccurate. First and foremost, NVC never interviews applicants. It is solely the US Embassy overseas that conducts the interviews. NVC's primary role is to gather/prepare documentation for the Embassy.
US Embassies all over the world have a backload of cases but, some places have less time processing than others.
Individuals (especially petitioners) can contact the embassy directly by email and I encourage them to do that. DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ!!

It’s been over two years since I have filled out my I 90 and paid for it, it is now officially expired except for my receipt. How much longer until I get my renewed green card?
