Operation Barbarossa was the code name for the invasion of the Soviet Union by Nazi Germany and its allies in June 1941 during World War II. It was the largest military operation in history and aimed to capture Moscow quickly and remove the Bolshevik/Stalinist government from power.

Love It! Something I always hate though sometimes is how people say Russia as a nation never was successfully invaded, even though Germany in WW1 Defeated Russia

Bro the axis could annex all of the Soviet Union or annex the european part of Soviet Union + Soviet Union could lose Moscow, but the rest of their army could make the Germans struggle to fully-occupied the Soviet Union

Nice one, though I think the Soviets wouldn't surrender when Moscow falls, I think they would resort to guerilla warfare in the Russian mountains in the east.
