For this mission, we recon the BMC Toys Marx Reissues of World War II Army Men. These plastic soldiers pay homage to the Russian forces who pushed back the German invaders, with great detailing. Featured are three different colors, olive, burgundy brown and RED.

The original Marx WWII Battleground soldiers are still the best WWII toy troops ever made. These Russians were originally from a set called “Battleground Europe”, which also included British and French units, to accompany the Americans as they fight the Germans. Here’s hoping BMC remakes those other European armies, as they’re still incredibly rare to find original or even official recasts to this day.

BMC now do brown tanks too. I'm saving up for an order of 10 different products, I'm waiting until I have the money and the oranges soldiers to become available!. I have some of the burgundy brown Russians. I have all the other colour apart from the orange ones, I even have pink army men!!!!

Where did you get the Soviet flag? Also we need T-34 tanks and Katyusha rocket launchers for them. I actually managed to find a T-34 tank online. Now all we need is a Katyusha

I want some Russians from the same timeframe as the timmee M16 soldiers, with AK47s, RPGs and RPKs. Airfix had something close but people want way too much money for 14 figures.

Also, I don’t really like the idea have having a character that’s shot or dying. For a diorama fine but if you wargame with them, it just seems funny to use them as a fighter.

We sure could use more Soviet army men sets maybe we could get some kv1 tanks, Soviet troops wielding LMG, Soviet howitzers, kv2 tanks, and more molds for the soviets

Just out of curiosity, why do you wear gloves? I mean, when handling a coin collection gloves are sometimes used, to keep oil off of the coins. But in the case of plastic toy soldiers, they already have oil on them. Besides plastic comes from petroleum, which comes from ancient organic material like extinct animals and plants----the same stuff WE are made of. So what's the purpose of the gloves?
