To be fair, I have no bias either way. But this report is not telling the true story here. I don't think the US came to this talk in good faith.
The reason the Chinese diplomat had to respond this way was because of Blinkens' first statement. He blasted China in very condescending manner.
Then tried to remove the press before the Chinese diplomat could respond. The Chinese diplomat asked the press to stay so he could put the record straight.


Though hard to find on YouTube the whole raw unedited video is searchable and I can share if requested.
There are clips on CGTN YouTube page of the Chinese diplomat asking way the US is pushing the press out. Not a great look I'm afraid.

Wow what a guest, whose prediction on Chinese collapse turned out to be the biggest failure and mistake ever, I really admire his courage to show up on TV and curious about this outlet’s choice. And it’s funny how US media reports this, no wonder Trump call them all fake news, should anyone watch the whole session or what reported by other counties, one will find a totally different story.
