The 2024 BMW M3 CS is a high-performance variant of the standard M3, with a number of design and performance enhancements that set it apart from the base model. Visually, the M3 CS shares many similarities with the CSL model, including exposed carbon fiber on the splitter, roof, hood, air intakes, rear spoiler, mirror caps, black side skirts, and unique color options. M3 CS is powered by the same 3.0-liter S58 engine found in the CSL, which produces 40 more horsepower than the standard M3 Competition. Torque remains unchanged at 479 lb-ft, and power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, an M-tuned xDrive all-wheel-drive system, and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential in the rear. BMW claims a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds for the M3 CS, which is nearly half a second quicker than the M4 CSL. The top speed is electronically limited to 188 mph.

The BMW M3 CS will be available starting at $119,695, including a $995 destination fee, which is a significant increase over the standard All Wheel Drive M3 Competition. Production of US-bound cars will begin in March 2023.
